SHERRI HILL INTERN PROGRAM 2017
Spring 2017
This project began with the outlook to create a playful and inviting space for the incoming Summer 2017 Interns at Sherri Hill. Being 1 out of 6 of Sherri Hill’s first group of intern’s in Summer 2016, I was able to use my experience as a guide for this project.
Though the summer internship was rewarding, I felt that there was sometimes a lack of direction and motivation (naturally of course, being Sherri’s very first intern program!). After identifying moments within the program that led to confusion or poorly used time, I was able to translate those findings into a plan to prevent the same process for the second round of interns to come.
A strong approach to girl power-type branding and a helpful “Guide” to advise the interns of events and duties felt like the right kind of solution.

Sherri Hill is a world-renowned prom and wedding dress designer, appearing in her first New York Fashion Week show in 2011 and continuing to take the stage ever since. Her designs gained popularity when various Miss USA, Miss Universe and Miss America contestants won titles in her gowns. Now, the Hill family business has a network of over 1,000 stores selling the brand in over 30 countries. Sherri Hill’s corporate headquarters is based in Austin, Tx with an additional showroom and design studio based in Atlanta.
